Drivers ed is over tomorrow, goodness knows I haven't improved.
Concert this weekend: Hawthorne Heights, Matchbook Romance, Yellowcard, Blue October, Dashboard Confessional, The Wailers.
Should be very fun, but its not the same as the last concert I was at of course :)
Oh my goodness people, AFI is everywhere. They're all over MTV comercials, all over hits 106 (which is like very 'popular' radio, if you dont get that station) and nearly everyone knows about them (or else you're pretty 'out'). I suppose this makes me happy and sad.
Happy: AFI is amazing. They deserve fame, glory, riches and fans named Danielle screaming and running toward them everywhere they go. There music is totally awesome and its definatley about time they had some publicity after 9 cds/eps.
Sad: I can no longer be a weirdo running through the streets screaming " Now every face, it looks familiar... then every face would melt away until... now everyone, do you know, I know your deception? " Without people going "afi, right?" or something to the effect that I am somewhat mainstream and unoriginal. Now people hear ONE SONG by afi and walk around going "i love afi, theyre good" when they really have no idea of what afi really is like or know what "i love afi" means, not really.
I guess my real point here is that-
I LIKED AFI FAR BEFORE THEY WERE POPULAR! I liked them before any cd of theirs went platinum, when people thought you were talking about the "American Film Institution" when you said AFI and when wearing a shirt that said "We dance in misery" meant you were an odd freak that needed some serious adittude ajustments.
Ohh... i miss the old days....
